Terms and Conditions

Lesson fees are payable in advance for the whole month, before the start of the first lesson. I reserve the right to refuse lessons which have not been paid for or for persistent late payment. Students who do not pay the fees are presumed to be discontinuing lessons.

Lesson fees will not be refunded for missed, or forgotten lessons, or lessons cancelled by student/parent, and Makeup lessons will not be offered, except in exceptional circumstances.

If I have to cancel a lesson, I will endeavour to reschedule it. If I am unable to reschedule a lesson, I will offer a refund via the subsequent term’s invoice.

Students are expected to attend regularly and punctually at the time arranged. If you are late for a lesson, your lesson will not be extended into someone else’s lesson.

If you find that you have to miss a lesson, please let me know minimum 24 hours in advance, This gives me a chance to put someone else into that slot.

**Public Holiday Lessons – There are no lessons on public holidays. Please arrange an alternative time during the term.

***Makeup Lesson Policy – You can take only one makeup lessons per month any time during the month to avoid too much disruption of the Tutor’s and other Student’s timetable. 24 hours notice must be given to qualify as a makeup otherwise the missed lesson is forfeited.

REGULAR CANCELLATIONS – Where a student persistently cancels lessons for whatever reasons, or fails to turn up for lessons with no contact, I reserve the right to terminate their lessons.

LATENESS – I reserve the right to not continue to teach pupils who are regularly late attendance.  I can not extend lesson time to that already agreed,  only remaining time can be given.

CONDUCT – If the Teacher, using his reasonable discretion, feels unable to continue tuition on account of conduct by the Student or anyone connected with the Student which makes it unethical or unsafe to continue teaching the Student, the fees for any outstanding lessons will not be refundable.
